Anamosa Methodist Church

We have arrived in Chicago and are getting settled in. The boys are sleeping in the gym which is a great place to hang out before going to sleep.

After waking up and having breakfast all together, the team split in two and half of us left to work at a church in Rogers Park. While there, we boxed up and put away decorations and cleaned out an old storage room. It was very helpful for the church and made a noticeable difference in the sanctuary. After cleaning up in Rogers Park, we left for CCO. While at CCO we worked in the "free store" bagging up and organizing their clothing items. We ended the evening with some delicious pizza at Lou Malnati's And good converstaion. Please pray for energy today and boldness for more ministry tomorrow!

Part of the group got to sort out the clothes that had been donated to the church and get them ready to go in the clothing pantry for the community.

We got to be a part of serving meals and cleaning up after them. That included washing dishes, cleaning tables, and sweeping.

The girls put up hangers foe the future Rummage Store.

Group A is at Rogers Park this morning and we are doing a lot of much needed cleaning to help the church. We are sweeping, vacuuming, mopping.

Some of us got to serve the community meal at CCO Saturday, and we loved getting to meet all of the people.

We had a great weekend serving here in Chicago! We closed the weekend with Dunkin Donuts for breakfast and then we were on our way. Thanks to everyone who supported us and prayed for us!
