The team arrived this afternoon safe and sound! All flights were smooth and on time-praise God! After a short bus ride, they jumped into ministry right away at the Dorothy Menzie's Children's Home in Belize City where they loved on some precious children. We are now en route up north to Sarteneja where we will have dinner and get settled in. We are looking forward to a great week! We'll try to post a picture within the next few days. Thanks for all of your prayers!

Our first day of ministry has been a rush! We set out to the construction site this morning with the intention of digging a few holes so that concrete could be poured for a foundation on Tuesday. We dug more than a few...
Part of our group went out visiting homes in the community as well -we met many amazing families and invited them out for the week of events.
This afternoon we were out on the sports fields playing soccer and volleyball with the children in the village. We have a youth night we are leading tonight and we are definitely looking forward to it.

Yesterday we were blessed to help lead a night service at the church for the congregation. We put on a skit that dealt with hiding from God and putting on a "fake face" in front of our creator.
Today we spent time at the school working with the older youth there as well as the young children. We had stations set up and we rotated everyone through. We had a blast!
This afternoon we were back out on the sports field with about 65 children and youth from the village to play softball, volleyball, and of course soccer.

Today we rose early after a wonderful night of sleep to head back to the Nazarene School here in Sarteneja. The weather seems a little bit cooler today which helps when ministering to a bunch of rambunctious children. We have set up stations outside and in and are able to play games, dance, sing, and teach the children the Good News. We are also ministering to the older children at the school with some more in depth activities and discussions.
We are excited to do as much as we can on the construction site this afternoon as well as visit some more homes throughout the community. We will finish up our evening with some sports ministry out on the field and a prayer service this evening.
Thank you all for your prayers of support, encouragement, and safety. It has been a WONDERFUL week and we can't wait to tell you all about it!
