Praise God for safe travel! Everyone arrived full of excitement and smiling faces, ready for all God has planned for them! After a relaxing lunch, the team was eager to jump into ministry! We headed to the Liberty Children's Home where we spent the afternoon loving on some of God's precious children. This evening the team led a youth night with a wonderful time of worship, testimonies, and powerful skits. We are looking forward to a great week of sports ministry, kid's club, and painting/construction projects. Thanks for all of your prayers!

This team is all about ministry! We had a great start this morning with a Belizean breakfast of fresh fruit, fried jacks, beans, and watermelon juice! After a brief orientation we enjoyed jump roping and soccer with some of the neighborhood kids. We also washed windows and helped clean the church. A few team members went into Belize City to purchase some supplies for painting and construction for later in the week. Tonight we're looking forward to meeting up with more team members from Utah! We'll enjoy dinner and fellowship as well as a very helpful missions training. Your prayers are felt! Comments are appreciated and will be shared with the team as we are able!

The team has had a wonderful Sunday! We started out this morning with a joint worship service at Victory Assembly of God Church where the team helped lead worship, gave a few powerful testimonies, and shared a message about the importance of encouraging one another. After a great meal, half the team headed to the Dorothy Menzie's Children's Home where they loved on some sweet children and the other half headed to Golden Haven Retirement home where they visited with the residents. Tonight we'll enjoy a church service led by the pastor followed by a team meeting with a time of worship and reflection on the day. Tomorrow we'll start some painting and construction at the church as well as Kids Club in the afternoon. God is good, all the time, all the time, God is good!!

The team had a great start this morning! After a yummy breakfast with fresh fruit, beans, and Belizean "Journey Cakes" the team was eager to get to work painting the church. They were all given their tasks and they went to work! They even attracted neighborhood children who wanted to "help"! We are sure they will be back this afternoon for the Kid's Club where we'll share God's love with them. Everyone is doing well and your prayers are appreciated!

This team ROCKS while they ROLL!! They practically finished painting/rolling the church by lunch time, took a quick break, and then back to work to finish painting and start tilling! Kid's Club will be from 4-6 complete with songs, crafts, story, recreation, and a little bit of magic by "Dan the Magic Man".

Kids Klub yesterday was a huge success. With over 75 kids in participation, we did crafts, had a Bible Story time, sang songs, did magic and did recreation.
Today we are headed over to Altun Ha, a site of Mayan ruins, for a bit of culture and relaxation. We will post a picture from the site when we return! Thank you for your encouragement, prayers and blessings.

On the Way Home!

It's been a busy few days! After our visit to Altun Ha on Tuesday morning, we spent Tuesday afternoon giving encouragement and affirmations to one another. Afterwards, part of the team finished building the partitions while the other half led Kid's Klub! The kids were eager to be there and there were 80+ kids! Wednesday was spent snorkeling and relaxing at Caye Caulker followed by a time of worship on the beach led by Tarah and a time of debriefing and sharing. We traveled back to Belize City by water taxi EARLY this morning and took everyone to the airport. A plane just took off as I was typing this which very well may have been their flight! It has been an amazing week and the team is eager to see everyone back home and share their amazing experiences! Thanks for your prayers and encouragement this week!

You all look great, but it does look like it's hot and humid there. We are praying for safety for you all, for open doors to sharing the Gospel and tor ministry to others, Godly fellowship, great health for everyone, spiritual growth, and for any bad weather conditions to dispurse, in Jesus' Name! Thanks so much for representing The Carpenter's House, and for ministering on behalf of the Lord!! May you have great fruitfulness while you are there, and experiences that you can share with us and even tell your grandchildren about!! God bless each of you!!

Hey guys! Glad to hear you made it there safely. I hope the tropical storm wasn't too bad. I'm really, really proud of you guys. As I'm sure you already know, THIS WILL BE A LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE!!! Tell the Praise Team that worship went great this morning, but we really missed them. I'm so used to Tarah leading that my mom had me all fouled up! I pray you guys have a major impact on the people you meet and minister to in Belize. Remember, YOU MAY BE THE ONLY JESUS SOME OF THEM EVER SEE! We prayed for you guys this morning and know God has some divine appointments for you there. Anyway. be safe, be blessed, and be a blessing to the people of Belize!
