We arrived safely to Belize today! We are all here, our luggage is all here, God is good! As we pulled into La Democracia, lots of children and their parents came over to greet and welcome us into their community. We are spending some time hanging out, getting to know the village before a traditional Belizean supper of rice and beans, baked chicken, fried plantain and juice. Pray that our energy is restored after a full day of travel and for the school and construction ministry that will take place tomorrow.

We are off and running! After a very rejuvenating night's sleep, we were up early with the roosters! We broke into groups this morning to have devotions to the childrens' classrooms. After classtime, we walked back to the church to get started on the construction of the ceiling of the church. A few very dedicated guys stayed there the whole afternoon to get a good start on it. The rest of us were back in the classes, doing crafts and songs! This afternoon has us hanging out with the children, playing sports with them, learning games and songs from them and walking them home as we invite their parents to the prayer service tonight.
Please pray for Pastor Cecil's wife who will be having surgery tomorrow. May God be with her, Pastor and the doctors.

Everyone was busy yesterday afternoon getting the word out about the Heavenlies concert that was held at the church last night. We handed out flyers to local communities, dispersed them in the classrooms and made home visits to get the word out. It worked! The church was PACKED with people from the village! Praise God! We had a high energy, spirit filled concert with lots of dancing, laughter and worship. What a testimony to the overwhelming power of having one God, ruler of all nations.
